Our Dedicated and Trustworthy Pollination Team

Virtually all of the world’s seed plants need to be pollinated. This is just as true for cone-bearing plants, such as pine trees, as for the more colorful and familiar flowering plants. Pollen, looking like insignificant yellow dust, bears a plant’s male sex cells and is a vital link in the reproductive cycle.

Cole Bee

General Manager

All bees have very high-energy needs that must be met for their survival. Cole Bee makes sure every bee meets their quota for survival of the entire hive. Phil's team are the best of the best, they are flower-seeking pollen magnets purposefully visit flowers to collect pollen and nectar for food for themselves and their young.  They look for key resources such as pollen and nectar from a variety of flowers. Many bees need water in addition to nectar.

Bee-nard

Professional Gardener

As you can see Bee-nard really enjoys getting into his work. He prefers flowers that are:

  • Full of nectar
  • Brightly colored with petals that are usually blue or yellow or a mixture of these (bees cannot see red)
  • Sweetly aromatic or have a minty fragrance
  • Open in daytime
  • Provide landing platforms
  • Often bilaterally symmetrical (one side of the flower is a mirror image of the other)
  • Flowers are often tubular with nectar at base of tube

Antheia Butterfly

Professional Gardener

More than beautiful, butterflies contribute to the health of our planet. While feeding on nectar, they pollinate many types of wildflowers.

Sage Hummingbird

Quality Technician

Sage Hummingbird and her family are amazingly adapted pollinators, and they play an important role in pollination. They have long, slender bills and tube-like tongues that they use to drink nectar from brightly colored flowers; this gives them the energy they need to fuel their high metabolism.
